Study of youth adaptation to the labour market
A mixed-design study identifying barriers in the transition from education to employment.
Task
To understand which factors genuinely impede first employment and how far existing support measures meet demand.
What was done
The quantitative survey was complemented by a qualitative stage: in-depth interviews revealed barriers invisible in the numbers yet decisive for behaviour.
Outcome
The report was published and informed a revision of the client's regional programme. Two support measures were retargeted to the priority group.
