Sociological and market surveys
Representative measurement of public, target-group and expert opinion — from sample design to handover of the data set.
We design the sample around the client's question: nationwide, regional or targeted by sector, profession or socio-demographic profile. Sample size and structure are calculated from the required margin of error and the planned analytical breakdowns, rather than fitted to the budget after the fact.
Fieldwork is carried out via CATI, CAPI, CAWI and in-person focus groups. Interviewer performance is controlled through audio recording, GPS stamps and call-backs to a control share of respondents. The client receives not only the report but also the anonymised primary data set with a codebook, so that any conclusion can be independently re-checked.
Deliverables
- Analytical report with cross-tabulations and breakdowns by group
- Anonymised primary data set (SPSS/CSV) and codebook
- Methodology note, sampling error calculation and fieldwork control protocol
- Results presentation for the client's senior management
When it applies
- Assessing public perception of state programmes and reforms
- Measuring satisfaction with the quality of public services
- Studying demand and consumer behaviour ahead of a product launch
